John Crompton AM - (Chairman)
Resident of Back Valley
John is a lifelong resident of the region with experience in farm business management, local government and natural resource management. John is a dairy farmer and past member of the South Australian Dairy Farmers Association Executive and Dairy Research and Extension Advisory Committee.
John was Mayor of Victor Harbor from 1993 to 2003 and during that period was President of the Southern & Hills Local Government Association and a member of the Local Government Association Executive.
John received a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2005 for service to local government and the community.
He is currently Chair of the Fleurieu Natural Resources Management Group, a member of the Water Resources Committee advising the Adelaide & Mount Lofty Ranges NRM Board on the development of the Water Allocation Plan, and a member of the Fleurieu Water Allocation Plan community committee.
He is a member of the Encounter Marine Park Regional Consultative Committee.
Peter Hocking - (Deputy Chairman)
Resident of Strathalbyn
Pharmacist
Peter is a partner in the two pharmacies in Strathalbyn. He has worked in the town for the past four years and enjoys being involved in the local community. Currently owner/operator of Wildberry Cottage - Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Strathalbyn.

Jennifer is a former primary producer owning and operating a small olive grove in Goolwa. She still has an avid interest in issues relating to agriculture/horticulture and the potential for primary industry on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Graeme Maxwell
City Manager (CEO) of City of Victor Harbor
Graeme has previously spent eight years service in the banking industry and twenty four years in Local Government.
He has spent the past fourteen years employed by the City of Victor Harbor including eleven years as City Manager.
Malcolm Schlein
Resident of Carrickalinga

Following service in the Royal Australian Navy in the medical branch (1960 to 1969), Malcolm commenced work at the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science as a microbiology technician. Over the next 26 years positions held included, Manager Microbiological Media Production, Manager Regional Laboratories, Manager State Pathology Collection Service and Manager of Occupational Health and Safety and Rehabilitation. Other Public Service positions included Senior Consultant in Human Resources in South Australian Health Commission and South Australian Mental Health Services; Team Leader Economic Development State Aboriginal Affairs and Administrator of Point Pearce Aboriginal Community. Currently owner/operator of Carrickalinga Cottages B&Bs.

Carol Schofield AM
Resident of Inman Valley
Manager and owner of Galloway Yabbies
A long term resident of the Fleurieu, Carol has many years experience as a dairy farmer and aquaculturist in the region. She has also worked as a Quality Assurance Consultant assisting dairy farmers in the development and documentation of QA systems.
Carol was the first woman to Chair the Advisory Board of Agriculture and the first woman to be elected as President of the Agriculture Bureau.
The highlights of a long list of achievements and awards include, the Order of Australia (awarded in 2004), induction into the National Pioneer Women's Hall of Fame in 2001 and a SA Great certificate in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to State Pride.

MG (Kerry) Trezise JP CMC
After a break, Kerry has returned to the FRD Board for a 2nd term of service. Her background has ranged from being an ex Defence Force servicewoman to employment in public service roles and small business.
Kerry currently serves as a Councillor for the City of Victor Harbor and runs a small business for wedding services. She has served on other local Boards in the Fleurieu region.
Kerry believes her past tertiary study/training and professional involvement along with an extensive community service history gives her broad experience to offer a robust contribution to the Board. Her asprirations for economic development are for young people to effectively contribute to the local economy with strong employment opportunities.
David Basham
Resident of Mount Compass
David has been a resident on the Fleurieu all his life. He operates a 400 cow dairy farm with his wife Kate.
The Fleurieu has one of the highest concentrations of dairy farmers in the state. As the current state President of the South Australian Dairy Association, David has been involved in the process of having the Fleurieu drought declared by the Federal Government, enabling access to much needed funds for all farmers.
David is also a member of Australian Dairy Farmers Ltd (ADF) Board. ADF is the national body that represents dairy farmers.
David has recently been awarded a scholarship to participate in the Australian Rural Leadership Program.
