Business Survey Part 1 2009

On 30 April 2009, FRD commenced distribution of a survey designed to gauge the impact of the economic downturn on businesses throughout the Fleurieu Region. Results of this survey are now available for public perusal. A second, follow-up survey is currently being conducted and can be completed by clicking the link on the FRD Home Page. Close off date for this survey is midnight Sunday 13th December.

Health and Aged Care Report

Lakeside Towns Development Report - MACTA

The Lakeside Towns Development Report is an initiative of the Milang and Clayton Traders Association (MACTA), with funding assistance from FRD and Alexandrina Council. It investigates the expectations and aspirations of the Milang and Clayton Traders Association,local businesses, local residents and visitor customers. This report considers the existing local businesses, the local communities, local customers and the sustainable eonomic development opportunities tourism can offer Milang and Clayton.

Light Manufacturing Industry - Supply & Demand Chain Mapping Report

By reviewing the Fleurieu Peninsula Light Manufacturing Industry Value Chain in the context of this project key issues have been identified, which will if addressed, enhance the capacity of the Light Manufacturing Industry in the Region. The project has focused on identifying industry sectors and contacting businesses that make up the Light Manufacturing Industry in the Fleurieu Peninsula (excluding food, wine and boat building). The process included developing a Light Manufacturing Industry Value Chain model to summarise the key issues for emerging businesses and the resources currently available to assist them.

Office of Employment - Regional Profile

The Office of Employment has produced a set of regional profiles to assist its stakeholders to generate new employment development opportunities in South Australia. The profiles are based on geographical boundaries that differentiate the regions in South Australia that are managed for economic development purposes by Regional Development Boards (RDBs).

South Coast Study: Keeping Pace

The South Coast: Keeping Pace Study is an initiative of the City of Victor Harbor, Alexandrina Council and the Fleurieu Regional Development Corporation. It provides an overview of recent demographic changes in the region and canvasses employment, investment and business opportunities into the future. The study balances economic, social, environmental and planning issues in an integrated way.

Strathalbyn District Study: Keeping Pace

This report, Keeping Pace: Strathalbyn District Study was initiated by the Strathalbyn District Commerce Association (SDCA), Fleurieu Regional Development and the Alexandrina Council. It is intended as a specific study on the Strathalbyn District to assist with planning for the region, including commercial activity, tourism, the development of Strathalbyn as a “Centre for Antiques” and industry development. It does not contain recommendations as the report is designed to highlight information, to draw out trends and directions and to assist the sponsoring agencies plan for the future.

Supply & Demand Chain Mapping-Fleurieu Peninsula Construction Industry

In March 2005, FRD commissioned a study on the Fleurieu Peninsula Construction Industry, to be undertaken as part of a Supply Chain Analysis & Cluster development of key industries in the Fleurieu Peninsula. This report pursues the challenge to grow the regional Construction Industry.
